FAMILY MEMBERS

MIMIC	Name: Mimic Age: 29 History: Born eldest girl of three to a single parent family and helped to raise her younger sister from the age of seven. Married very young and had two children at the age of 18 (twins). Divorced her first husband three years later. Married Chief in 1998, at the age of 28. Children: Baby Frosting & Baby Leaper. Stepchildren: Baby Candy & Baby Splash Character: Mimic is a very spiritual and imaginitive pony, and has a strong creative streak which some ponies find it hard to accept and understand. She is a deeply sensitive and caring pony but tends to hide that underneath a sharp, business-like veneer.
Baby Frosting	Name: Baby Frosting Age: 11 Character: Despite a shy front and an innocent expression, Baby Frosting is an ingenious deviser of many of the practical jokes the Beddy Bye Eye Babies torment their teachers with. She has a wicked streak and although she is intelligent her brainpower is rarely applied to her studies.
Baby Leaper	Name: Baby Leaper Age: 11 Character: Unlike his twin sister, Leaper is a laid back character, unruffled by any of Frosting's pranks. He has a steady girlfriend in Baby  Sapphire.
Buttons	Name: Buttons Age: 22 History: Born the youngest of three and was very much the baby of the family, being seven years younger than her sister and ten years younger than her brother. A competent nanny, she looks after Baby Snoozy for a harried and busy Medley. Buttons has not been married, but she recently adopted a pair of twins and devotes all her free time to playing with them, and with her nephew and niece. Children: adopted twins Sandcastle & Shovels. Character: Deeply caring, sensitive and maternal, and yet in many ways quite shy and reserved.
Sandcastle	Name: Sandcastle Age: 5 Character: The elder twin by four minutes, it is usually Sandcastle's impetus which leads her and her twin into all sorts of scrapes.
Shovels	Name: Shovels Age: 5 Character: The younger and more reserved twin, Shovels will follow wherever her sister leads, with chaotic results.
Ice Crystal	Name: Ice Crystal Age: 32 History: Married his first wife aged 21 and had a son, Paws. His wife died when the baby boy was seven years old and in 1998 he remarried, this time into the royal lineage as Prince Consort to the Princess Pearl.  Children: Baby Paws Stepchildren: Baby Diamond, Dangles Character: Dependable, resiliant and yet with the same flair for creativity as his sisters, Ice Crystal is a fatherly pony who is very popular with his nephews, nieces and son alike. He now is working on building a bond with his stepchildren who are happy to accept him but not so keen on his son.
Baby Paws	Name: Baby Paws Age: 11 Character: A stubborn minded young man who has strong ideas and ideals and who can't stand his stepsisters in the least, most especially Diamond, whom he constantly fights with. Paws is very loth to reveal his true feelings about anything but he is notoriously close to his Aunt Mimic and his cousin Leaper. He is very scornful of 'marrying into the royal line' although he has grudgingly accepted Pearl as his stepmother and secretly is quite fond of her, despite her children.
